The Northwest Art Center (NWAC) is pleased to present the 2011 Valley Art Show—now in its 6th year. This juried art show is free to enter and artists are welcome to sell their art with 100% of the proceeds going to the artist. The artwork will be judged and then installed for public display in businesses throughout downtown Duvall from May 21 to June 4, 2011.
The opening reception will be held Saturday, May 21st at 1:00pm at the Northwest Art Center where the award winning artists will be recognized and then kick off the Valley Art Show Walk.
Submissions from adults and youth are welcome. The age categories are the following:
- Primary (Kindergarten through 2nd grade)
- Intermediate (3rd through 5th grade)
- Junior High (6th through 8th grade)
- High School (9th through 12th grade)
- Adult
All artwork must be original and there is a limit of two pieces of art accepted per person. Size restrictions and hanging instructions can be found in the registration forms. The following mediums will be accepted:
- Drawing
- Pastel
- Painting
- Printmaking
- Photography
- Mixed Media
- 3D Sculpture
Art submittals will be received beginning Monday May 2nd through May 4th. Please see the registration forms for location and times.
